Mitchell Starc dismissed Abhinav Mukund for a duck after India opted to bat.

KL Rahul and Cheteshwar Pujara resisted after the early wicket to add a half-century stand for the second wicket. The latter fell in the last over before the break as India ended the first session on 72 for 2.

After dismissing Pujara, Lyon got the big wicket of Virat Kohli post Lunch to dent India and leave them at 88 for 3.

Two in two. After he left the ball alone in Pune and got bowled, this time Kohli offered no shot to Lyon and was trapped plumb in front.

Ajinkya Rahane was stumped for 17 giving Lyon his third wicket.

After a promising 26, Karun Nair was stumped off the bowling of Steve O'Keefe. India went to Tea at 168 for 5.

India crumbled to 189 all out as Lyon ended with figures of 8 for 50.

David Warner and Matt Renshaw scored an unbeaten 40 for the first wicket to keep the Indian bowlers at bay.
